Scott started his tattoo career as an apprentice at Tattoo Zoo, in North Austin, and found his way down to Atomic Tattoo, also in Austin.  A door opened at No Surrender Studios to jump on board, and explore other avenues of tattooing, while defining his style. Scott returned to Atomic and rejoined the shop that is a second family to him before setting out to open his own shop.

Scott and his wife, B, now own Inkery, an appointment-only tattoo studio on West Sixth Street. Inkery is an art-motivated studio, with a relaxing environment to make getting a tattoo “almost enjoyable.”
